I took a trip into the city today and met up with Kai, John Prolly, and Tony Fast. They're all fucking insane. Tony s the coolest dude I have ever met he's fucking hilarious and he's a PHD student, which tbh, was the last thing I expected. He showed us some of the shit he has to do for work and it made my head explode. Prolly's new Gangsta track shines in the sun, it's absolutely gorgeous.

Finally my hip has healed, for the most part and I can put all my weight on my left leg again (and skid). So I decided to take a break from tricks and just ride fast like I used to. I pulled out my level and threw my old drops on it. It's unbelievable how amazing it is to max out and push yourself. Have a couple of phone pictures today, I didn't wanna schlep my camera. Apologies for quality.

Recently, I found out that an iPhone app for wordpress came out a long while ago, which allows for blog posts via iPhone which rules! I will be switching over to Wordpress, I will slow diminish each post on here.

Is finally returning to its normal state, the swelling is decreasing and I don't walk with a limp anymore. I rode around a little today for the first time since Saturday, and I could get around just fine, which was great. Took a more decent picture of the BMX, more detailed pictures to come....

Hospital Visit

Finally finished my BMX, and of course I have to wreck and go to the hospital. Ended up getting a pretty bad contusion on my left hip, after having the bike slide out from under me on a turn. Gay shit. I have a shitty picture of the bike, and a picture of the hospital wrist band, should have the copies of the X-Rays soon.

It's finally fucking finished, my Intense SS is up and running smoothly, it's gorgeous in every aspect, and runs like a tank. Weighing in at a great 35.5 lbs, it rules beyond belief.

My friend Austin came over today, it was humid as all hell, and we figured it wouldn't be bad to just get into some freeriding around my house. There are some pretty decent spots, and Austin is crazy as all fucking hell. He found some gnarly spots to ride down, and an intense drop about 8 feet. Not many great shots, my camera is a piece of junk, and it gets noisy as all fucking hell at a relatively low ISO of 800. It's really annoying that I can't document this to the best of my ability, but enjoy the shots as much as possibly.
I also have a pretty dandy GIF at teh bottom of the post. According to Dakota it's
"TEH GNARIEST!!!!"

Today was fucking chill, but at the same time, fucking ridiculously hot. It was sweltering today from the humidity paired with the sun, my jeans were soaked once I got home.
I chilled pretty much all day with Dakota, and a good friend of mine, Austin, who happens to own an Intense M6. Our goal was to go to the skatepark and take some pictures of him gapping a 3 foot ramp, but it was shot down when we found out the skatepark was open! Not cool. Anyway, we got food, I had a raging intestinal blowout, and brought sludgement day upon a local food venders toilet; I told them to be weary about going in there for a couple of weeks.
I also figured out how to do smoothies today, which ruled on so many levels. See the video at the bottom of the post.

After chilling at the skatepark the majority of the day, Dakota and I road back to his house to chill, eat oreos, and play some videosjuegos. After that, we decided we wanted to head back to town and hit up the park again before going to dinnnnn dinnnnn with my mom. As of now, we're playing Madden and watching Spongebob so suck it.

Today was the the slowest fucking day ever. My town sucks, period. It's the absolute suckiest of the suck, no fucking joke. It's filled with adults too wealthy for their own good, and guys that look like bears from all the HGH they consume. I get sick of this place, but I still have a few friends here that I share good times with, one of them being my friend Dakota who's a year younger. He's probably one of the gnarist kids I know, he rips on a snowboard, and loves hardcore music. He rolls around on his spray painted Giant, and still fucking rules. Today we rode to the skatepark, all though it was closed, some of the ramps were more than ridable, and I figured out how to barspin up them. Avoided the police was an event in itself today, they're not to fond of kids at the skatepark, that blast music out of their car.

We filmed some of the runs, and made a shitty, short EDIT, but enjoyed it nonetheless.

I haven't been keeping up with posting at all recently, I haven't done anything really worth while recently either, and if I have, I just haven't had my camera to document it. Just been chilling pretty much.

However, I recently got a new wheel on my Level, as well as new cranks, chain, and bottom bracket. I just got tired of shitty Sugino 75s.

I also recently chilled in the city with a friend of mine Alan, who has his own blog, CyclingWMD, it's ridiculous, his stable, and his love for bikes. Good shit over there. We tried out a recent experiment about Saturday Street Closures. It was actually pretty awesome not having to deal with traffic, but there were a lot of casual riders that didn't have a clue on how to keep a line, which was rather annoying. I don't have any pictures, I left, but we found out after eating bagels in Williamsburg that there was a small bike show over on Attorney and Rivington, we met up with a bunch of people, including Luke, Luke, Austin, Eric, and Andras.

I've been waiting for my new Mavic DeeTraks for about a week an a half, partially because Jenson USA took some time to ship, and also FedEx FUCKING SUCKS! Took them a week and 2 days to get my wheels here, and guess what THEY HAVE A BROKEN SPOKE! I'm so fucking annoyed with FedEx at this point. They blow harder than someone that blows realllllly hard.

So today I got home from work with a big frame box sitting on my porch. I had anticipated the day since I got my UPS tracking number.

It was my new Intense SlopeStyle FRO Frame, paired with a Fox 36 Float RC2 fork, and a Fox DHX 5.0 Coil shock. It's incredible looking, I haven't even ridden it and I love it.

I had a day off today from work, thank god, work's been stressful as all hell lately due to the rise in the August tourism crowds that consume Nantucket between August 1st, and August 20th. It's become a traffic hell-hole, and biking has once again become my primary transportation. Recently I had a bunch of text-book "bros" pass me in a car screaming,
"AHAHAHA WE'RE FASTER THAN YOU, FAGGOT!".
I figured that their comments were either due to immense amounts of consumed alcohol, or the fact that I appeared to be a faggot to them. Either way, I passed them, and their truck, at a gas station, stopped, gathered myself and replied.
"Yes, but last I checked, you have to pay $100 bucks to fill up the truck you bought to make yourself feel less insecure about your miniscule penis".

They didn't really know what to say, with their upturned visors and all, but I felt slightly superior.

Jillian's was chill, we watched some TV, and she caressed my new laptop, talking about how sleek and big it was....

I ended up staying home from work today because I was up all night hunched over a toilet from what I thought to be food poisoning, ended up just being a shitty stomach ache, but it was still miserable. I slept nearly all morning, into the afternoon due to the lack of sleep at night, and had a late lunch with my dad. (No pictures). And relaxed the rest of the day after going for a short ride once I felt better.

Just got back from picking up a movie, ended up having to drive because I got a flat that I was too lazy to fix. Picked up "There Will Be Blood" and I can't say I'm not excited.

1st Post

This is my first post on my new blog, I never kept up with the old one, and it just didn't work for me. I decided to start a new one that followed my general life, and what goes on it. I'm only 16, I work at a bike shop during the summer, and I'm going into my junior year of high school. I love taking pictures, and tote my camera everywhere. I ride a track bike, and you can call me a hipster all you want. Enjoy.

I live in Nantucket, MA during the summer, partially because my parents wanna stay here, and partially because I have a solid job at a bike shop here. I wake up to a beautiful view nearly every morning, and since I just got my new laptop I'll be able to keep up with this blog more consistently.
